I am PADI Course Director Kai Steinbeck.
My diving career started when I was 16 years old in the Dominican Republic. Ever since I took my first breaths underwater I was mesmerized by the beauty of the marine environment. I've made the dive industry my career in 1993 when I became a PADI Openwater Scuba Instructor in Australia.
I have worked in the Caribbean, Indonesia, Costa Rica and all along the ribbon reefs on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. My scuba diving adventures have taken me all over the Pacific where I have enjoyed countless liveaboard expeditions, day trips and shore dives.
My PADI IDC is run in Port Douglas in conjunction with Quicksilver Dive and a great dive shop in Bali, Indonesia. I run a relaxed full time two week program, giving you plenty of time to go through all the material you need to in order to successfully pass your Instructor Examination.
Come and join me and change your life!
Do it in Australia
PADI dive instructors that were trained in Australia have a reputation of being professional and doing things right the first time, following PADI standards and knowing what to do.
This makes you more employable all over the world and gives you the edge over the other person applying for the same job.
Not just with whom but also where you do your instructor course is an important decision to make.
