Carmen Bittner

Kai is amazing. Super friendly and takes care of his students. I really enjoyed the PADI IDC with him and getting two specialty ratings through him! Even during Corona Virus we made it work, sticking to the regulations while still having fun. We all came a long way since we first started our course and we all made friends. I am looking forward to staying in touch with him and all the other candidates from the course.
Definitely recommend doing your IDC with him! especially with all the little extras and all the effort he puts in!

My partner and I decided to take a chance on Kai, after much deliberating about where and when to do our IDC's. Turns out, it was meant to be from the get go, and we have returned from our IDC and IE wanting to do it all again!

Right from the beginning, Kai was thorough, informative and prompt in answering all of our questions and providing us everything we needed to know. It was a good sign when Dive Shops along the East coast of Australia knew him by name and assured us we would have an amazing time.

Not only was Kai's course content and schedule structured in an engaging, enjoyable, logical and when suitable - appropriately challenging manner, but the atmosphere created in and out of the classroom has allowed us to leave the IDC with some lifelong friends - including Kai himself. We were so prepared for the IE, and feel that we are ready to step into the industry with the additional knowledge and skills that we have learned.

If you are looking for a course that marks the beginning of a lifelong adventure and career, Kai is your man. Bring your A game as he will bring his! And get ready to have some fun and become a Dive Instructor!

“A dreamlike experience.”

Originally from Colombia, I met Ivanna Tobar in January of 2018 when she came out diving with us in Port Douglas aboard AquaQuest. Ivanna went on to do her PADI rescue course as well as PADI divemaster course on the Sunshine Coast. Ivanna completed her IDC in Port Douglas in June 2018 and got a job straight away with one of the local boats called Wavelength. Since leaving Port Douglas, she moved to Indonesia where she has been working for Bali Diving Academy putting her marine biology degree to good use by incorporating it in the PADI Divemaster course to deliver that little extra.
